Service Over Self
College / University Scholarship Criteria

1. Georgetown County high school senior.

2. A minimum of one hundred (100) hours to SOS sponsored projects or agencies.

3. THREE references, one from a representative of a SOS sponsored project or agency,
   one from a school official, and one from the community.

4. Completed application (can be obtained by calling the office.)

5. Documentation of College acceptance.

6. Essay covering the following:    
   - Personal Goals
   - Career Goals
   - Service Goals
   - Description of past service efforts
   - Strengths/Weaknesses
